and restoring the trophies which appear below. John constructed appropriate
cases to house the 46 trophies shown below which are now installed at All
Saints.

| Jerome Paul "Boomer"
Groom (August 15, 1929 – February 29, 2008) was a professional
American football defensive tackle/linebacker/center in the National
Football League. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, he graduated from All Saints
in 1943, Dowling Catholic High School in 1947, and Notre Dame. He
went to one Pro Bowl during his 5-year career with the Chicago Cardinals.
He played college football at Notre Dame, where he was an All-American.
He played on the 1949 Notre Dame National Championship team as #50.
Groom later served as a color commentator for
the Denver Broncos' radio broadcasts.
